Bella Agama Om
Bella
Agama Om carefully and constructively nurtures
her lifelong love of fine arts enhanced by her devotion to
Yoga and Eastern philosophy. The result is a renaissance woman
of noble aspiration and formidable accomplishment. Her art
draws upon her life experiences inclusive of being a published
author, recording artist as well as a Harvard University teacher.
Known by her spiritual name of Bella
Agama Om (AH'-gah-mah Om), Bella
Agama Om starts each painting with a mantra or sacred
syllable Om as an expression of gratitude to God the ultimate
creator. She then proceeds to paint with both hands often
simultaneously for each painting to be created from the heart
as a gift of love.
In addition to her art appearing in galleries and receiving
commissions, her art won awards at The Art Students League
Gallery across from Carnegie Hall where Norman Rockwell, Winslow
Homer, Georgia O'Keefe, Jackson Pollock and Roy Lichenstein
attended. Most recently her travel to India influences her
creating spiritual art.
On the other side of the spectrum, Bella
Agama Om, currently residing in New York City continues
to be active in a variety of volunteer settings. She has served
as Benefit Chairperson for the Environmental Association for
the World Citizen's Assembly to the United Nations, and helps
feed the homeless on a regular basis. For you who choose to
buy her art, feel good knowing that a portion of each sale
goes to charitable causes. The daily prayers of Bella
Agama Om include, "Om, let the whole world be happy."
Blessings to you !
