| We
are excited to offer the first-ever and only official
reprint of the famous poster promoting The Velvet
Underground's gig in the summer of 1970 at Max's,
their first appearance in New York City in three
years. It was designed to resemble a subway car
ad by Steve Nelson, a friend of the band from
his days as manager of The Boston Tea Party and
owner of The Woodrose Ballroom, where combined
The Velvets played more often during those three
years than in any other venue. Steve is working
with us to produce this authorized version of
the poster, and will sign it if you desire.
The
original poster was printed in a run of just 1,000
and is highly prized by collectors, selling for
well over $1000 when it rarely becomes available.
This full-sized reprint is 11" high by almost
29" long. The print run will be limited to
500. Including shipping and handling, it is available
now for just $50 signed by Steve. Order yours
today!
Shipping/handling
is included.
